Always wear an apron.
Make sure the table is clean.
Now you are ready to begin cooking!
Carefully measure these ingredients into a mixing bowl
8 ounces of self raising flour
2 ounces of butter or margarine
Use a fork to squash the lumps of butter into the flour until it looks like tiny breadcrumbs.
2 ounces of sugar and 2 ounces of sultanas (if you like them).
Stir this into the mixture.
Gently roll out and cut into rounds.
Place on a baking tray and brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar.
You can eat them with butter and jam if you like.
